Dream shop

When I was young I always used to dream about starting a tourism business as tourism is very favorite in Cox’s Bazar and eventually I wanted to do the same abroad to settle there. But nowadays I understood that I can do a lot more living in my own country, Bangladesh.

I didn't continue my madrasah education after class 6 because of family financial issues. I didn't do anything for one year. After that, I decided to work in a garage where bikes get fixed. I had to learn a lot of different things to work as a well-trained mechanic but I couldn't cope with that. I wasn't understanding the mechanism of fixing vehicles. So I left that job and decided to work in a departmental store. Since then I have been gathering experiences about this work. After a few years, I join this super shop - 'Welcome super shop' where many buyers come. My previous experience in the departmental store helped me a lot to get this job. I understand my work very well and know how to manage things well for customer satisfaction. I work to deliver groceries to many of the customers too and they keep recommending others. Many foreign customers visit our shop as well and I love to communicate with them. I am telling everyone to come to visit our shop to buy groceries and let us know what to upgrade. We are very happy with our customers and we keep taking feedback.

I love doing this job. My dream is to continue this job and eventually start my departmental store when I am capable - Mohammad Joinal Abedin - 27 - Shop Manager
